It's rare that an unrelenting act such as a finality is conveyed with so much softness.

A lovely piece indeed, void of any aggressive elements or harshness. I strongly believe that a work of art is great when it stimulates, and clearly this creation is a fantastic representation. Beautifully crafted, from the hair flow to the infinite details to be discovered. The choice of tones is more than artistic instinct.

I absolutely love the setting and the oh so delicate element in the background, non intrusive and yet powerful: the wave. It's the promise that time will gradually wash everything away and clear the "board" for a new start.

A win for a loss, depending on the bet, and what was to be lost or gained to begin with. . . The strands of time unraveling as the last piece is played, a faded memory , what was won.
